Boston Coldest High Since 1881, Late Barge Arrival

Monday will see coldest Marathon in many years - The Boston Globe:

"On April 15, 1881, the temperature in Boston only reached 40 degrees. Until today, that marked the coldest April 15 in the record books."
Here in MN, the new record for latest barge past Hastings was set on the 11th of April, the OLD record just having been set in April of 2013.

How cold will this spring be? Right now we have winter storm watches out for Rochester for Wednesday evening, but the weather folks assure us that the warmer weather will come in "next week" as they have been for nearly a month now.

While any sort of weather can fit under the rubric of "Climate Change", so far the media is rather shy on telling us that we seem to have our 2nd record breaking late spring only 5 years since the last. You can rest assured that if it was record breaking WARMTH, we would be hearing a lot about it was we do each  January as te IPCC declares a new "wamest year in history" -- meaning "warmist since 1982, if  you factor in the WHOILE planet with just the right sorts of measuremennts included, excluded, "adjusted", it is "warmer" to some .00X factor that is at least a decimal position beyond the accuracy of the measurement.

I covered some of the detail on how our "Climate Marketers" manage to keep telling us that every year is "the warmest ever" as we deal with record cold both here and in Europe -- basically, the assure us that it was really warm in some patch of ocean somewhere that a satellite looked at. Trust them.
