Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and if you have the power of the #11 richest man on earth (Michael Bloomberg) behind you, you can even get it published. If it suited his fancy to increase his number one share, you could likely even get it published in the Washington Post owned by #1 Jeff Bezos.
So what is a "villain"? I guess in this case, it is whomever "Shashi Tardoor" thinks it is. In his "morality", pretty much anyone of the late 19th and early 20th century educated in the west would be "villain". Nearly all of them believed in Darwin for real -- not the modern watered down version of "survival of the fittest". They believed that "the fittest survive" ... meaning WIN, and that Western civilization had proven superior and thus risen to the top. They ALL "believed" this ... Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Margret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood), Franklin Roosevelt, etc, etc. They didn't even see it as a "belief" ... they saw it as "empirically proven by results".
So there really isn't any difference between Churchill and Hitler ...

Thinking like this is why we have wealth like Bloomberg and Bezos and why it provides a platform for cultural relativists that want to do away with historical heros so that more people believe that those with the most money have the best right to shape opinion. Might ... and money make right!
I'm sure that Hitler, Stalin and Mao would go right along with Bezos, Bloomberg and Tharoor -- except unlike Churchill, who used words to win his arguments, Hitler, Stalin and Mao would be quick to put a bullet in the head of guys like Bezos, Bloomberg and Tharoor once they were no longer useful to them.
Was Churchill willing to use harsh rhetoric and even harsh methods when he believed required to defend the British Empire and the future of civilization? Especially the Civilization of the English Speaking Peoples? Certainly ... and without him we would likely be speaking German today.
Certainly people like Tharoor have a right to their opinion. That we live in a world where the richest people on the planet give them a forum to spew their opinion without even the merest semblance of conterpoint is great example of #FAKENEWS ... it may be fake, but those billionaires DO have a purpose. Their big purpose is to have you uncritically read such tripe.
In the world that Tharoor apparently imagines as "better" the caste system would still be ruling over millions dying in hopeless filth in India, and the Indians of N America would still be starving and warring with neighboring tribes, including the taking the scalps of even women and children as trophies.
If you want to see the "just like Hitler" calumny debunked, there is a decent job here ... as in biographies that are far from hagiographies.
The IMPORTANT thing to understand is how critical it is to modern "progressives" to destroy any great man of Western civilization. What they desire is to make "something new" that they promise will be "quite wonderful" ... just "tust them" -- oh, and be sure not to say anything they don't like lest they destroy you as well!

The real honest TP answer to "Make America Great Again" is that "America was never great!" ... slavery, discrimination, not enough equality in income, not kind enough to the environment, too warlike, took the country from natives, etc ... Reagan was an anomoly -- such a great man and such a great communicator, he was well into his 2nd term before TP was able to suitibly damage him. Even then, he destroyed one of TP's most powerful allies, the USSR, a crime for which they will always hate him.
HW was a complete TP cutout -- heart of a RINO, former CIA director -- 4th branch Deep / Adminstrative State swamp creature from way back.
Under Slick Willie, Newt Gingerich gained power by appealing to the Reagan / eventual Trump "real American" constituency -- people that thought that the 4th branch could be controlled and reduced, and people that believed that presidents of BOTH parties were under the law. TP proved again that it could protect it's own as it had with Teddy Kennedy ... as it would do again and continues to do with Hillary Clinton. If you are a TP person with power, you are above the law, and if you are in opposition to TP, there are no lengths they will fail to go to in order to destroy you, your family and your friends!

From the POV of TP and no doubt Meghan McCain, 1986-2016 were when "America" was "great", because it was really BOistan ... at least "in waiting". As Trump has made clear, from the start of 1986 when Iran Contra put Reagan in a box, up to 2017, TP has called the tune. RINOs faked being a "nice opposition" so that TP would not destroy them, and people that cared about tired old things like God, morality, Constitutions, limited government, laws that applied to all, etc were faked into thinking they still had some voice.
McCain was the perfect RINO -- he loved to venemously attack semi-real Republicans in order to be honored by TP and it's spokesman the MSM. The years of "greatness" were the effective BOistan years from '86 - '16. Reagan had been kind enough to fix the economy so there was a lot of money for most of it, and then BO stole enough from the few remaining workers in BOistan and the future to at least make it seem "stable". Hey, "2%" of cooked numbers "growth" became what BOistanis accepted as "sustainable, realistic, environment friendly, psuedo growth".
According to Politico in 2016, growth like 4% isn't even POSSIBLE any more, and back then, economic performance was apparently a lot of what they saw "greatness" to be.

See, "2 something" (after juicing the number by 2-3% in 2015) is all the real experts say is possible. Get used to it you stupid sheeple! Pay no attention to that 4.2% 2Q 2018 ... hell, we may have even just had an ACTUAL 1-2% GDP growth since TP last took over the full reins in '06!
TP's idea of "greatness" is no, or fake opposition. McCain and his band of fake RINOs were PERFECT! The Trump administration isn’t changing the rules that pertain to separating an adult from the child. Those remain the same. Separation happens only if officials find that the adult is falsely claiming to be the child’s parent, or is a threat to the child, or is put into criminal proceedings.
Bottom line, you entered the country illegally, thus committing a FELONY.
If you commit a felony as an American and are incarcerated, you are ALSO separated from your children! **IF** you decide that it is your kids that are important to you, you leave the country WITH your kids. If you find that your own skin is of the greatest import to you and your kids can take some risk (something you already decided when you brought them with you on this illegal journey), then you get separated.
