Again, I applaud the WaPo for some truth telling -- for people that want to get a little insight into the staged "resistance", "March for your lives", and "Black Lives Matter", anti-Trump efforts by other names. The article is short and well worth the read. The points are:
- Of course this is all staged / astro-turf financed by Oprah, Clooney, probably Soros, etc.
- The average age of protestors was just under 49 years of age, NOT a "bunch of teens"
- 89% voted for Hillary, so this is no "big shift"
- Only 12% of the people were there to protest guns
The article closes with this:
The March for Our Lives had the allure of a free concert — in fact, the event’s website maintained a list of performers but never listed the speakers. But it is one thing to turn out to watch Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ariana Grande perform, and quite another to vote in the midterm election in November.Ah "free stuff"! I really think the TP voters are only really likely to turn out if they are given some FREE STUFF for voting ... even if it is as easy as just mailing it in!
